Alicia Lord Therapist

Alicia (she/her) has worked in a variety of settings with children and families, offering both educational and therapeutic support. She specializes in anxiety, fear-based behaviors, perfectionism, and the disconnect between children’s developing intellect and their emotional experiences and expression. She is most passionate about empowering children to love and accept themselves exactly as they are and to help families find deeper levels of connection and authenticity through honest emotional expression. Additionally, her writing has been published in various online publications and offers extended support for families through our online blog.

Jaela (she/her) has worked with children, adolescents, teens, and their families in various settings for over ten years. Jaela strives to help each child, adolescent, or young adult find their own unique toolkit of coping skills that uses their specific experiences, emotions, and beliefs to maximize their quality of life. Jaela's specialties are anxiety, navigating family changes, and early childhood trauma. Her experience in each environment helped her gain more insight into assessing, educating, and providing a safe, healing atmosphere for children and their families. She loves being able to take part in families growing together and learning to embrace each other's strengths and hardships through exploration and communication. Outside of work, you'll often find me cuddling my four-legged friends, scouting out delicious gluten-free treats, and passionately cheering on Philly sports teams.
